RETURNS

Nothing can be more annoying or frustrating if the wrong item is received. We therefore ask you to re-check your requirement carefully to ensure that you have ordered correctly.

SORRY - BUT ITEMS CAN ONLY BE RETURNED IF UNOPENED AND IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING. REFUNDS EXCLUDE SHIPPING COSTS.

NOT THE ITEM ORDERED - INKY'S MISTAKE

A valid authorisation number is required before returning any goods.

If the item received is not the ordered item, please contact us immediately by email, quoting your original order no.

We will give you an authorisation number for the return, and arrangements will be made to replace promptly with the correct item.

Please include a copy of the original order with the returned goods.


WRONG ITEM ORDERED - CUSTOMERS MISTAKE

A valid authorisation number is required before returning any goods.

Permission to return, should be made in writing, by email to inky.co.uk@ntlworld.com A request must be made, within three days of receipt of an item, quoting order no, date, and reason for return.

If authorised, a returns authorisation number will be given.

Follow the information given for packaging and returning the goods.

Products must be returned unopened, and in their original packaging, unused, and devoid of any defacing such as sticky labels or writing on either the item or on the manufacturers box, so that they are in a resaleable condition.

If an item has been purchased in specially to satisfy the customers order, the Suppliers restocking charge will be passed on to the customer, usually this equates to 20 - 30 percent; plus any additional carriage charges incurred. A minimum £10 + vat handling charge will be made.

Items accepted for return will be given an appropriate Returns Authority number. (RA no) This must be written on the outer packaging when returning. Please ensure item is packaged appropriately to prevent damage. The packaging you received the item in, should be suitable for returning the item. Returned items will be refused without the proper identification. Items must be returned in mint condition and any sealed items unopened, so that the item can be resold by our Suppliers. Please ensure you enclose a copy of the order with the returned goods.

No goods will be accepted without a valid returns authorisation number on the outside of the package.

The liability for the return of the goods back to INKY rests with the customer.

The customer will be credited in due course, less handling and carriage charges.

Credit Card providers now charge for refunds as well as payments, a charge of 3% each way will be made, with a minimum total charge of £2


FAULTY ITEMS - VALID FOR 30 DAYS FROM DATE OF ORDER

Goods such as toners and drums are tested by the Manufacturer before despatch, and are guaranteed to be perfect and free of defects so are unlikely to be faulty. If you have problems after purchasing a toner, it is possible that the equipment needs a new drum also/instead, or that the equipment needs a service which is quite normal. Any problem could be solved quite quickly by speaking to the Manufacturer. The number can be found in the product manual. If you do not have a manual inspect the packaging, inside and out, for Help Line numbers, alternatively we will provide one for you. Ensure you are in front of the item when you speak to them as it is likely they will ask you to go through a procedure while you are on the phone. If the Manufacturer agrees that the item is faulty, request that they replace the item direct for you, and offer them evidence of the date of purchase. Manufacturers often do this and it is the quickest way of resolving problems. If they insist you return the item to us, you will need to note the date and time of the telephone call, the telephone number, name of the person you spoke to and a call reference. You will need to ask them to confirm in writing that the item is faulty, so a copy can be forwarded to us with the goods. When returning the item to us please include a print sample, and engineers report if you have one, and a copy of your inky order. No items can be returned which are over 50% used or refilled.
